We cordially invite you to join us for an interdisciplinary roundtable discussion on forced displacement and migration-related research. The objective of the roundtable is to provide a platform to share your work and information about projects, publications, and research interests. We will also provide information on the next conference of the FFVT project (Forced Migration and Refugee Studies: Networking and Knowledge Transfer) and the German Network for Forced Migration Studies, which will take place in Bonn in September 2024. This international conference is a chance to present work undertaken by scholars based in Bonn on issues related to forced migration research.

Background information: Why are we inviting you to a Roundtable on Forced Displacement and Migration related Research?
In Bonn there is a great density of expertise in the research areas surrounding forced displacement, migration and integration, in institutions of higher education and of non-university research. A research mapping with a subsequent workshop in this thematic area took place in 2020 under the umbrella of the Bonn Alliance for Sustainability Research. A lot has happened since then, new projects have been established in this area and new colleagues joined the field. There have also been exchanges on migration topics in international cooperation through the University of Bonn (International Office).
We would like to invite you to a new round table in order to create useful synergies for the (joint) work in Bonn. The purpose of this roundtable is to get to know new faces, to exchange information and to discuss potentials and opportunities for future collaboration.
