Justus Beyerling
Justus Beyerling studied German Language and Literature, Art History (BA) and Comparative Literature (MA) at the University of Bonn from 2017. During his studies, he worked as a student assistant in the DFG project “Edition of Stephan Schützeʼs Versuch einer Theorie des Komischen (1817) and other minor comic-theoretical writings” by Prof. Dr. Johannes F. Lehmann and Dr. Alexander Kling (2019–2021), in the DFG Research Training Group “Contemporary/Literature” (2022–2024), at the chair of Prof. Dr. Ingo Stöckmann (2022–2024) and as a tutor in Modern German Literature (2020–2022). In 2024, he completed his studies in Comparative Literature with a Master’s thesis on “‘Raumzeilen’. Graphic Transgressions between Writing and Image in the Work of Hans Kaiser” and has since been a research fellow at the University of Bonn.
